Getting started
Signing in
There is no password. What that means, and what to protect instead.
How it works
- Go to the sign-in page and type the email address your account is on.
- We email you a six-digit code. It is good for a few minutes and for one use.
- Type the code. You are in.
You can also continue with Google, as long as the Google account uses the same address. There is no password to choose, forget, reuse or have stolen.
What this means for your security
Your inbox is the key to your dashboard. Anybody who can read it can sign in as you — so the single most useful thing you can do is turn on two-step verification with your email provider.
Note
Kili will never ask you for a code, and nobody from Kili needs your sign-in to help you. If somebody asks, it is not us.
If you lose access to the email address itself, tell us. Moving an account to a new address is something we do by hand, on purpose.
Being invited
When your organisation is approved, the person who applied is emailed a link. Opening it and signing in with that address attaches the account to the organisation. Colleagues are added later from the Team page, and get a link of their own that expires.
