Your organisation
The employee portal
Let your staff ask for data instead of asking you.
What it is
A page at usekili.com/c/your-company that your employees can open without an account. They say where they are going and why; your own approvers say yes; the eSIM is issued and emailed to them, paid for out of your travel credit.
It exists so that a trip does not start with somebody finding an admin in a corridor — and so that there is a record of who asked for what, and why the company paid for it.
Setting the rules
Open Employee portal from the sidebar. You choose:
- The address — the part after /c/.
- Who can ask: an email domain, so only your people can use it. There is no sign-in, so this is the gate.
- What they can ask for: the longest plan, and which destinations are open.
- What they must tell you: the reason, the dates, a cost centre.
- Who approves: any admin, or only the people you have given the Approver role.
Note
A portal that is switched off is not there at all — somebody with the link sees a page that does not exist, rather than one refusing them. Turn it off while you are still deciding the rules.
Approving
Requests arrive on the Requests page with a red count beside it. Each one shows who asked, where they are going, when, why, and what it will cost.
Approving does two things at once: it spends your travel credit and issues the eSIM to the employee immediately. There is no second step to forget.
Note
Nobody can approve their own request, whatever their role. If you need an eSIM for your own trip, ask a colleague — that is the rule working, not a bug.
